We’ve been in Thailand's capital this last week wowing ourselves at tropical plants...
A humid haze on temple spires, where golden Buddhas watch the hours.
The air is thick with frangipani and orchids dripping from their bowers.
The banyan roots, like tangled threads, crawl down the stone, a patient art.
A thousand secrets that they keep, woven deep within Thailand’s heart.
We’ve been in Thailand this last week, so once again, we did our best to find one of the city's best botanical gardens.

Queen Sirikit Park, located north of the city, was a revelation. It has an amazing variety of tropical and subtropical plants.
It was also handy that it was right next to Chatuchak Weekend market, so we could get a fix of clothes for Wil and ‘cute shit’ for Tia.
Here are some pics from our adventure…

and some more…

Here’s some music that soundtracked our wander…
Thailand LOVES plants, and in Bangkok, you find plants on all the city streets in the most random places. There’s a real beauty to the care that the locals take of plants in a busy, congested city.
Here’s some other random plants spotted on the street…

Great tree at a very odd ‘made-up’ old temple (kind of trying to emulate some Angkor temple) on the outskirts of the city…
and some from a visit to Jim Thompson’s house and gardens….

Nice cactus vibes in our apartment…
Endless love to Jay, More Rice and the crew at Bar Temp and Bangkok Community Radio for hosting us in another amazing city…
Shout out the motorbike taxis, without who we’d have not made it round the city nearly as quickly…
Next stop, Hanoi!
Keep it planty…
