Seeds in Seoul...
Looking at flora in the amazing South Korean capital.
Amidst Seoul’s relentless hum, the mountain breathes,
A green and quiet heart where nature weaves.
The trails of Namsan rise, a verdant climb,
Escaping from the rush of modern time.
We’ve been in Seoul, South Korea, for the last week, so we took a little trip to Namsan Park to visit the botanical gardens, which lie at the foot of the Seoul Tower. We couldn’t find them or took a wrong turn, so we continued up the small mountain to see the tower up close.
Here are some pics from our adventure!

Extra note from Wil:
I’m not one to sit around after a night out and mope, so after our party at the ACE Nyapi club, I took myself off to Bukhansan National Park and up the mountain. It’s a few hours uphill, but by the time I’d got to the top, any remnants of the night before were gone… to be replaced with this view:
Here’s another one…
And here are some pictures of the beautiful acer tree leaves on the turn from the climb up and down, and an interesting mushroom…

…and some really amazing fungi on a log I came across..

I didn’t listen to much on the way up, choosing to engage with the sounds around me, but if I had the inside of my head, it would have sounded like this….
and the outside like this…
More details on the above come soon come ;)
The climb was so good that I dragged my cohort and a few other friends up again the day before we left… I won’t bore you with too many more photos but can confirm it was equally as good.… ok, maybe one more…
…and one more of our friend, Dave who joined us for some of the journey:
Endless love @nyapi_seoul, @ffanyourself, and the crew for hosting us in this great city.
Seoul has real soul 💚🇰🇷🌱💚🌱🇰🇷💚
Next stop, Bangkok! 🇹🇭🛺
